Carasusana B. Wall is a Partner at Zoll & Kranz, LLC. Cara first joined the Firm after receiving her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 2012. Cara is now a Partner and works passionately for Zoll & Kranz clients, potential clients, and legal cohorts in the dangerous drug or defective medical device litigation, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, and personal injury processes.
Cara devotes much of her mass tort work to assisting in common benefit litigation development. Her energy is particularly focused on regulatory affairs issues (including development of national regulatory affairs experts), e-discovery, document review structure and oversight, trial logistics, litigation team organization, briefing, and general liability case development. Background
On the lighter side of things, Cara also serves on the Executive Committee of the Toledo Junior Bar Association, which has put on the Annual Gridiron Show since 1933. Leadership Positions
Cara is active in the local community and serves as on the Toledo Bar Association Board of Directors and as the Chair of the Toledo Bar Association’s Diversity Committee. As Chair of the Diversity Committee since March 2017, Cara oversees committee activities, such as CLEs and monthly meetings, and leads the administration of the Toledo Bar Association’s Minority Clerkship Program. The Minority Clerkship Program, places accomplished minority students in paid summer clerkship or internships in the Toledo area, with the goal of increasing and retaining diversity in the Toledo legal community.
Cara also serves as a Trustee on the Legal Aid of Western Ohio (LAWO) Board of Trustees and the Advocates for Basic Legal Equality (ABLE) Board of Trustees. She recently served as co-chair of the 2020, 2021 and 2022 Access to Justice Events and the 2021-2022 Justice for All Campaign, all raising funds to benefit ABLE, LAWO and the TBA Pro Bono Project. Cara is also a member at the National Filipino American Lawyers Association and National Asian Pacific American Bar Association.
